Providing language support to children with a different mother tongue in preschool age

The thesis is devoted to the problem of providing language support to children with a different mother tongue in preschool age. The theoretical part discusses the child with a different mother tongue, the framework conditions for providing language support to children with a different mother tongue at preschool age in the Czech Republic, methodical and educational materials suitable language support for children with a different mother tongue in preschool age and the method Kikus. Empirical part is prepared on the basis of action research conducted under the support of a language course by Kikus methods for children with a different mother tongue in preschool age. The artist in the empirical part of the main objective, secondary objectives and the main research question of action research, as well as the methodology of this research. Characterizes children's group, which conducted action research and its transformation. Specifics of the education of ethnic minorities form the former Soviet Union in the Czech Republic.

This theses focuses on the issue of study of foreigners from formal Soviet Union in the Czech Republic. The goal of this work is to analyse and evaluate steps on the student's journey from initial idea to study in the Czech Republic, through main obstacles that need to be overcome in the process to basic requirements and necessities that need to be fulfilled. These issues were analyzed in eight connected chapters, six theoretical and two practical. Results of the practical part uncover the most problematic areas a foreign student encounters during the study at the college in the Czech Republic. The paper also includes suggested solutions to these problems.
Czech as a foreign language in adult education

The topic of this thesis is teaching Czech as a foreign language in adult education. There are wide issues with many partial aspects. The goal of the work is to process the most important of them especially didactical issues. Therefore the thesis is analysing the situation of the subjects of the education - the adult students of Czech as a foreign language and their teachers. It is also analysing the object of the eduaction - the Czech language itself and didactic and methodological aspects. In the practical part of the thesis there is analysis and subsequent comparison of didactic tools and their contents. It is quite broad view of the field of Czech as a foreign language which is also trying to identify some deficiencies and to establish topics suitable for further processing.

Diploma thesis is oriented to analysis of current online language courses and software design of optimal solution related to analysis results. This text describe indivudual language e-learning courses for beginners, gives review of its advantages and disadvantages in connection with modern trends, explores user requirements for this kind of teaching. Due to the obtained results and usage of modern trends of foreign language teaching optimal solution may be proposed.

This Bachelor thesis examines the issue of language schools. It examines the way how university students perceive this kind of educational institutions today. It finds out students' opinions and tries to uncover the causes of lack of interest in studying in these agencies. In the theoretical part the work focuses on the description of the marketing research process and marketing mix 5P. In the practical part the work deals with language schools in general, then examines the attitude of students towards Tutor language school and finally the work deals with the description of the marketing mix of this institution. At the conclusion of this Bachelor thesis there are recommendations proposed that should improve the image of this school.
English for Tourism

The thesis is focused on ESP, English for Specific Purposes, namely English for tourism. Another specific feature is that it focuses on one particular student and the preparation of an individual course for him. In this thesis the student's needs are analyzed, the course syllabus is developed and teaching materials are prepared. After the study of the theoretical literature, the needs of the particular student are analyzed in terms of language needs, language skills and intercultural competence. The analysis is carried out through a guided interview and synthesized in a case study. A one-semester course syllabus design is the result of the analysis. In accordance with the syllabus, the lesson plans containing specific topic, aim, language skills, language sub-skills and teaching materials are created.
